Valentine's Eve

Today 50 dozen roses were delivered to me. You read it correctly - 50! No my boy does not like me that much. Instead, I organized another fundraiser for my friend and coworker Brad Benefiel. I sold roses and bought them wholesale and will deliver them tomorrow. I even stamped up cute little tags to add to the roses. It was a win/win for the guys in my office cause they helped a great cause and scored points with their sweeties!

Hey Megan

I actually read this last night and couldn't believe what this family has gone through....you are awesome with what you are doing to help and hopefully soon he will be back on his feet and living life again.

Oh, Megan! That's great, but you should have kept some of those roses for yourself!

WOW, What a wonderful and generous thing to do. I would love to see what 50 dozen roses looks like all in one place. I hope you took some pics...

What a wonderful, thoughtful and creative way to help not only Brad....but also all those guys you work with.

I absolutely love love flowers......when I worked at the florist years ago.....I was always bringing fresh flowers home as a special treat to myself. Having 50 delivered to my house.....why I would have had to keep pinching myself so I'd remember they were for other lucky receipients !!!

Here's a Valentine Hug for you !!!

Megan, that is so sweet of you! What a wonderful fundraiser. I bet all those roses smelled pretty sweet for the time they were at your place, too!

That's my girl. Always helping others and thinking of ways to do good. I love you because you're so you.
Sorry to get all mushy, but I wish I could've been there to buy some of those roses. I am floored by what Brad and his family have experienced. I hope that things will improve and that there is a rhyme and reason for their suffering.
Miss you and wish I could've sent you roses again this year! **wink**
Hope Mr. Bad Boy pulls out all the stops for you, you deserve the best.

Love,

your BFF Mel

Wow--50 dozen roses--that's A LOT! That tops the time a guy I broke up with was trying to win me back and sent me 9 dozen roses--one dozen for each room of my house so that I couldn't go into any room without knowing he missed me. Clever, but I didn't take him back...
